Monarch Vest
First Day Of My New Hill-Rom Monarch Vest!
I am totally ecstatic about my new vest. Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis 6 years ago...my life has certainly changed and I have had to learn how to adjust.
The Vest was one of those stages! I was assigned my first Hill-Rom Vest system in 2015 and found the therapy sessions as if I was being punished. Mobility was gone...I had to remain seated to do my therapy.
With the new Monarch, I am able to move about and no longer bound by tubes!
As with any advancement...there is the drawbacks!
Needing to adjust treatment to find new pressures and frequency.
It is not the Vest! This uses old-fashion percussion cups and will make you sore after 30 minutes.
If you are big-built, it barely fits.
The Bluetooth feature is a headache!
It is heavy...like wearing a backpack with three school math books.
The benefits!
Portable.
Whole unit weighs about 20 pounds and fits in a backpack.
8 hour battery (I was able to do 8, 30 minute sessions on battery).
Adjustable colors.
Service Rep will fit you to your vest.
Pendant Control
Two Protocol Settings & Manual Operations.
Isolate pods to key lobes of the lungs.
