I've been pretty busy with work this week so I haven't been able to show off my new babies but look! I got 2 new borneo suckers, aka hill stream loaches. They're shrimp safe and they're so pretty I wanted some even before I found out they got along with shrimp. I'd never seen one with the bands like the guy in the top left so I picked them and then the other one was the smallest in the tank and one of my favourite things about fishkeeping is watching them grow so I asked for them too. So far the bigger one has mostly hidden behind the sponge filter so I wasnt sure if that was to do with water flow or with cover so I've bought some Pennywort to spread around since this photo was taken and they seem to be a little braver now. Since they're a cold water fish so I've got my heater set on 22°C (71.5°F) because my room gets quite cold in the winter.
