before sleepin! i read a manga called I am a Terminal Cancer Patient but I am Fine. being in the health service of course it called my attention, but then the whole intensity of the author baring herself, her diagnosis, her depressed husband and heinous aspects of her life in the past made me tear. it is also very realist, showing how the whole process, from diagnosis to chemotherapy Including hospitalizations and even epidurals! work. i believe that it should be a Must read for every young adult or adult themselves, more today as colon cancer is becoming more and more common even under thirty year olds.
the fact that the author of the manga is (now was, rest in peace) a fujo made me appreciate the art even more. and now i am scared at my own cramps. for reasons tbh. if you dont find the eng name try the jp one Mikkigan demo Genki desu 38-sai. i really, really recommend it. i even wanna get it itl now!
