I apologize for any condescension in my previous post(s).

I do just want to say that fanfiction doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Many of us have internalized biases that we should confront. I know I do. 

I’m all for authors writing what they love. All for it. But the point of the post was to make people think about this theme, and to ask themselves why they might prefer six-pack Leonard to chubby Leonard. 

So if you’re angry and upset, feel free to be angry at me. I didn’t make the post to start shit though, or to call anyone out or attack anyone. I made the post because I found some other people who also feel very strongly about this and got excited. 

But if you are angry at me, if you view my post as an attack on you, or it upsets you, please think about why it might.

Fanfiction does not exist in a vacuum. Media does not exist in a vacuum. I’m not actually trying to shame anyone here!! That was not my intention. And I’m sorry about my flippant response to a reblog. But body image is an important issue, and what we read sinks into our subconscious and either can reinforce or negate our internal biases. For this, I’d love to negate some internal biases.

Wanted to test myself to make an image using my Tails design, I mean, myself...design. What started out as a redraw of a Team Sonic Racing portrait slowly morphed into something else. ^^; Oh well, I'm happy with the result.
