Radio Fish - Last Number (Featuring Himeka Nakamoto)
With Himeka Nakamoto’s upcoming graduation from Nogizaka46, Oriental Radio, whom she’s been doing radio with regularly, requested to record a song together with her. The lyrics are written by Atsuhiko Nakata, although simply credited as RADIO FISH. It is composed by kanako!sm. The song will be available for digital purchase and download on November 8th, 2017. In the translation I’ve marked out each vocalist’s solo in the verses. The chorus is all Himeka, and is left unmarked.
(Himeka) Laughter flowing from the radio on Sunday evening You and me got on the same wavelength And exchanged our feelings (Nakata) Even as things didn’t always go our way And during times one of us felt down We shared the pain and kept moving forward
(Fujimori) Even if our roads part here If you would ever feel sad Never forget that you are not alone
Why must all things come to an end (I will miss you) Why must people depart There is still something (I will miss you) I need to tell you (I will miss you) Thank you
(Himeka) That song playing on the radio brings the memories back to that day Worrying whether I could really get up on stage and dance happily I was shaking (Nakata) Because there are people who are waiting for you You mustered up your courage And returned here with a smile
(Fujimori) Even as the seasons pass And you would head for another place Never forget that you are not alone
Why are all my painful memories disappearing (I will miss you) Why does the past suddenly appear so bright I’ll become someone we both can be proud of (I will miss you) We will (I will miss you) Definitely meet again
The reason I can see this beautiful scenery (I will miss you) Is because I’ve climbed this hill Because I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished (I will miss you) I’ll finally say it (I will miss you) Farewell
Now is the time for this to come to an end (I will miss you) Now is the time for someone to depart There is still something (I will miss you) I need to tell you (I will miss you) Thank you
