himiko being someone whose felt alienated and picked on during her life and angie who has a deep lonliness.

himiko being vulnerable, and angie being lonely, angie offers her own escapism to himiko, who just desperately wants to pretend there isn’t a killing game around her.

himiko being so regretful of her rejections of tenko, whose help ultimately would’ve been better, but so grateful to angie for doing what angie could.

there’s real development, conflict, a deepness to them which can and should be explored.

two people with unhealthy escapism tendencies finding reality in one another. (eventually…)

there’s so much to do with this pairing, so much to think and feel but fan content for them can often be so, nothing. so often just portrayed as “soft sapphics” when they both, especially himiko, have such interesting characters and such an interesting relationship with eachother.

hopefully fandom spaces will come to appreciate sapphic ships that aren’t just “soft” or perfect, without boiling them down to be that or calling them toxic sometime in the near future.

Angie is definitely more into PDA, Himiko doesn’t care all that much.

Most of their cuddle sessions are just Angie snuggling with Himiko or Himiko sleeping on Angies lap or chest while Angie holds her, I don’t make the rules
