It's so funny that people keep acting like Wu is some secret villain and it's all his fault that the ninja were divided and that Jay has amnesia and all of the other things that the Merge has caused.

The show has literally shown us that the Merge came about sooner than it was supposed to, that Wu intended to make the proper preparations for its arrival, and that it was not supposed to go down That Way.

People want Wu to sound like this evil, malicious, ninja-hating force so bad that they completely overlook the fact that Ras PURPOSELY wants to unleash that kind of chaos and more for whatever his master's end goal is.

Ras literally tells us he wants to reverse the Merge and use the creation energies released from it for Something, he only tells us how he wishes to restore his tribe, but we all know his master wants far more than simple tribe restoration.

So why, then, is everyone acting like WU is the villain here, when it feels so obvious (at least to me), especially with the whole "Only unity can save us" thing, that the Merge was caused as a means of preventing something far greater from going down???

I’m talking about calling her out on building her identity based off being political (doing drag, being LGBTQ+, supporting drag queens, trans artists etc etc) and then when people look to her for that support she stays silent? She HEAVILY criticized the Biden Harris administration (which is valid! No political party should be free from criticism) but when the trump administration who’s is heavily targeting the rights of trans women and the LGBTQ community in general she’s silent??
