We had a big to do in Santa Ana, CA, yesterday as Shaun King and Michael Lighty came to help open the Bernie 2020 OC Campaign Office. Volunteers explored the new office and listened to inspiring speeches about Medicare For All, Criminal Justice Reform, and Volunteering because our lives depend on it.

It was a great evening with inspired volunteers and amazing speakers.

CI 5321 - Tail end

Although I feel like I lost an opportunity to work with my group by bumbling communication with them while I had my migraine last weekend, I do think that the thinking that this course provided me with around how to do and construct arts education via correspondence or online is invaluable. 

I am worried about my performance in this course as my module was rushed in an effort to produce work. I have never had a migraine shake me up this much and frazzle me. I think this is a warning sign that I need to take better care of myself physically and that pushing through, and enduring the struggle is no longer the best path to take as I think through how to become a researcher, educator and artist post Ph.D. This path that I am on is not sustainable after school and has to become so if something modeled by this construct is the life I desire.
