(Matthew 11: 12) Ever since the day John the Baptist saw Jesus walking down the street and declared in John 1:29, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world", the kingdom of our Lord has been under attack. If the kingdom of our Lord is under attack that means we as saints are under attack. This is not a battle in which we can call a timeout in or look to rest on the sidelines. The forces of darkness seeks to take by force and when we stop walking according to the Word, they are successful. Because we are chosen to live for God, we are a threat to the forces of darkness and as a result, the forces of darkness are always trying to advance over us, but Satan cannot stop the kingdom of heaven from advancing through us. No matter how bad things look, the gospel of Jesus Christ and the gift of salvation is still open to anyone who will confess the Lord Jesus and believe in their heart that God has raised Him from the dead. If you do this, you shall be saved. (Romans 10:9) Don't think that just because the violent takes by force that we are powerless to get back what was stolen from us. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal (2 Corinthians 10:4), and to be powerless is carnal. If the violent takes by force, we take back by faith!
