swears that he will not cave. iron wall will, nerves of steel. he can’t. he absolutely will not. though in complete honesty, he’s more likely to look at semi for backup - as though the third year setter could possibly FEND OFF this one. a part of him prays for salvation in the hands of satori, who would most likely distract shirabu with his antics while he made a quick escape to freedom. but alas, he is here. alone. defenseless. a vulnerable child in the hands of shirabu and his puppy eyes. who could possibly imagine that he was capable of such a feat?

Well this was far more than Tendou had really expected. Of course, he’d readily announced it was his birthday, but he hadn’t expected anyone to have remembered let alone prepared anything. Eagerly snatching up the offered food, Tendou offered a wide genuine grin. “Thanks! Didn’t even have to come and beg for food today!”

18. Is your character more likely to admire wisdom, or ambition in others?
Definitely a mix of both! I think he would admire both within someone, but ambition, such as hinata’s, could lead to over-confidence without anything to back it up. wisdom is also a wonderful trait, and ushijima will respect someone who is able to analyze. as much as he hates ‘confidence without base’, which may come in hand with ambition, ushijima naturally admires someone who has drive.
21. If something tragic or negative happens to your character, do they believe they may have caused or deserved it, or are they quick to blame others?
Unless he is DIRECTLY at fault for it, he will blame himself. If someone else is DIRECTLY at fault for it, Ushijima will know it is their fault. He is not illogical with who he believes is at fault.

It wasn’t often Tendou let things get to him. Normally he just let it all roll off his back. After all, life had thrown shit at him for such a long time there wasn’t much else to do other than keep moving on, but... today it was just a little too much. Things had been pushed just a little too far which was why instead of finding Kenjirou or anyone else on the team to steal food from, Tendou made his way to a more secluded spot on campus and sat down. Tears prickled at his eyes and Tendou let out a bit laugh, rubbing at his eyes to try and get them to go away, failing to notice the shadow of someone standing over him.
