HE’S   LOVING   EVERY   SECOND   OF   THIS   THING   THEY’VE   GOT   GOING.   sure,   it   sucks   to   keep   things   secret,   but   there’s   a   thrill   in   it   too.   and   it’s   not   like   things   are   a   secret   because   he’s   ashamed   of   her,   if   anything   the   secrecy   is   to   protect   her.   she   may   not   think   as   much,   but   it   is.   he   can’t   imagine   how   horrible   his   mother   would   be   if   she   found   out   he   was   getting   with   a   shadysider,   can’t   imagine   anyone   from   her   side   would   be   too   happy   about   her   hooking   up   with   a   sunnyvaler   either.   it   would   cause   drama   and   tension   and   that’s   not   at   all   something   that   he   wants   to   put   her   through.

her   words   catch   his   attention,   gaze   rising   to   be   met   with   her   naked   body,   standing   there   acting   oh   so   innocent.   he   knows   for   a   fact   that   she’s   doing   this   on   purpose,   knows   that   he   probably   has   spare   towels   in   there,   that   she   could   easily   cover   up   if   she   really   wanted   to.   but   of   course   she   doesn’t.   not   with   the   way   he   reacts   to   any   hint   of   her.   it’s   obvious   that   there’s   only   one   thing   on   his   mind;   made   clear   by   the   way   he   so   quickly   gets   hard,   the   way   his   gaze   lingers   everywhere   except   her   face.   he’s   quiet   for   a   while,   blinking   as   he   tries   to   think   of   something   to   say.   “   i   uh—   i   like   it   without   the   towel.   ”

he   knows   she's   upset,   of   course   she   is.   his   parents   have   been   the   cause   of   countless   problems   for   kurt   in   the   past,   have   put   him   through   unimaginable   pain.   but   they’re   his   parents,   and   they   say   they   need   him.   what   they   need   is   a   kid   they   can   use   for   cash,   forced   into   interviews   or   competitions   or   whatever   else   pops   up.   what   they   need   is   control.   but   kurt   doesn’t   see   that,   of   course   he   doesn’t.   he   so   easily   falls   for   everything   they   say,   so   desperate   for   his   parents   approval   that   he   doesn’t   think   through   any   possible   ulterior   motives.   “   they’re   my   parents,   joan.   ”   said   as   if   that   means   anything,   as   if   the   parental   bond   is   something   huge   and   important.   they   both   know   that   the   role   of   parent   doesn’t   mean   much.   “   and - and   mom   apologized   for   what   happened.   ”   specifically   for   lashing   out   with   joan   present,   not   for   anything   before   that.   she   wasn’t   sorry   for   what   she’d   done,   she   was   sorry   for   getting   caught.   “   they   love   me,   baby.   and   they   need   me.   ”

in  that  moment  the  world  freezes.  he  blinks  a  few  times,  scanning  her  face  to  try  to  work  out  if  she’s  joking.  but  she’s  not,  he  knows  she’s  not.  “  what?  ”  while  shock  and  fear  have  a  home  on  his  face,  they’re  not  the  most  prominent  emotions.  there’s  a  hint  of  joy  that  settles  above  everything  else,  an  excitement  that  he  definitely  hadn’t  expected  to  come  from  the  words.  “  wh—  that’s—  i  mean,  that’s  great,  right?  i  mean..  is—  is  that  great?  ”  the  more  he  thought  about  it  the  more  he’d  find  less  than  ideal  conditions  -  they’re  both  young  and  stupid,  neither  prepared  to  raise  a  kid,  their  relationship  is  far  from  being  heavily  public,  and  he  knows  exactly  how  his  parents  will  react  -  but  even  still,  that  excitement  rests  on  his  features.  “  i  mean  is—  are  you—  if  you  want  to..  if  you  want  to  have  a  baby..  i’m—  i’m  with  you.  ”

THE   WORDS   HAVE   HIM   MOVING   EAGERLY.   no   longer   satisfied   with   extra   touchy   making   out,   suddenly   desperately   aching   to   give   her   exactly   what   she   wants.   what   little   clothing   he   still   had   on   is   quickly   removed,   the   blonde   much   more   gentle   as   he   removes   what   she   had   left   on.   finally   naked,   he   goes   in   for   another   kiss,   one   hand   snaking   down   between   her   legs,   just   a   little   teasing   touch   to   get   her   even   more   turned   on   for   the   main   event.   it   doesn’t   last   long,   though,   he’s   never   been   great   at   teasing   her,   always   loses   patience   far   too   quickly.   so   his   hand   will   move   to   his   length,   guiding   himself   as   he   pushes   into   her.   the   moan   he   lets   out   as   he   enters   her   is   loud,   breathing   heavy   as   he   starts   gently   thrusting.   “   oh   my   god.   ”   muttered   under   his   breath,   obvious   that   he’s   enjoying   every   second   of   this.   he   moves   to   kiss   her   neck,   but   the   kisses   are   sloppy,   struggling   to   focus   his   attention   with   how   good   she   feels.   “   fuck,   baby—   ”   whispered   right   next   to   her   ear,   thrusts   starting   to   pick   up   the   pace.   “   you   feel   so   fucking   good.   ”

HIS   MOUTH   ONLY   OPENS   FURTHER   AS   HER   FINGERS   DRAW   NEAR.   it’s   no   secret   he   enjoys   it,   any   excuse   to   have   any   part   of   her   in   his   mouth.   hips   rut   forward   as   he   moans   around   her   fingers,   licking   and   sucking   at   the   digits   like   it’s   what   he   was   made   for.   they   both   know   how   much   he   loves   this,   but   it’s   only   made   that   much   clearer   when   he   looks   up   to   meet   her   gaze,   doe   eye   full   of   lust.   soft   moans   escape   as   he   pushes   his   head   forward,   taking   her   fingers   deeper,   desperate   for   every   little   piece   of   her.

THEY   DON’T   FIGHT   OFTEN.   both   try   pretty   hard   to   be   understanding,   to   acknowledge   differences   and   accept   them,   but   it   doesn’t   always   work.   it’s   especially   difficult   to   make   work   when   camp   is   stressful,   kurt   struggling   to   juggle   the   responsibilities   of   leadership   without   being   a   bit   of   an   asshole.   he’d   spent   the   afternoon   chasing   the   camp   rabbits   around,   getting   them   back   into   their   cages   after   one   ziggy   berman   let   them   out.   he’d   hung   on   to   his   annoyance   all   day,   something   that   clearly   caused   strain   with   joan.   he’d   been   kind   of   a   dick   to   her,   understandably   getting   her   pissed   off,   but   in   classic   kurt   fashion   he   opts   not   to   talk   it   out.   it’s   much   easier   for   them   to   just   turn   it   into   sex,   to   enjoy   the   feeling   of   each   other   so   much   that   their   negative   feelings   wash   away.   it’d   get   them   both   feeling   better,   even   if   he   would   continue   to   ignore   the   problem   when   he   does   feel   better.   hands   may   grip   her   hips   tightly,   but   it’s   still   clear   that   joan’s   the   one   in   charge   here.   she   always   is.
