Day 1: OTP
Baronjitsu might have been the first RotTMNT pairing I shipped, but these two have DEFINITELY become my main ship. I already loved Warren as a funny character, and “Warren and Hypno Sitting in a Tree” just made them as a duo so wholesome and cute!! Did the friendship/pairing kinda come out of nowhere? Eh, maybe, but I honestly don’t care. The genuine concern and care these two have for each other, how much they wanna support and protect each other - how can you NOT love it?
They may not have the drama or angst potential like Baronjitsu, but honestly... Sometimes I just want a simple and sweet love story, and these two are perfect for that ^v^ We haven’t seen them in Season 2 yet other than the intro, but I hope that when we DO see them again, they still have that wholesome partnership and the Rise crew doesn’t break them up for no reason. Whether they’re boyfriends, BFFs or just roommates, I just love seeing these two together ^v^

Day 7: Free Day
And here we are at the end of the week! Since we could do whatever we wanted today, I just did a draw page - My Kappa OC Michika (who is demisexual/demiromantic), Bi Rat Dad, Huginn and Muninn saying Gay Rights, a Hippoworm Wedding, and a small message from me, along with a list of my top 3 RotTMNT pairings and my headcanons for the main characters.
Anyway, all the drawings I did this week were a ton of fun to do, and I hope the fandom’s able to have another week like this next June ^v^ @lgbtmntweek
I wanted to try and come up with a kid for Warren and Hypno, and I came up with Sophia, a 5 yr old Jorogumo girl that they adopted from the Hidden City. (It also might have just been an excuse to design a jorogumo kid, lol)
I’m admittedly not entirely happy with the spider design or the color scheme (there’s this weird color contrast that Big Mama has in her spider design and I tried to mimic that but I don’t think it worked) so if anyone wants to give me feedback or whatevs, I’d honestly love to hear it since I wanna draw this character and her dads more in the future.
I’m also gonna try to draw more Jorogumo characters because, next to kappas, they’re my favorite Yōkai and I have a ton of ideas for them. So yeah, be on the lookout for those too.
Day 4: Song ((using old art for this day, so I hope no one minds))
Hypno’s “My golden voiced amigo” line from “Warren and Hypno, Sitting in a Tree” made me think that these two have done karaoke at least a couple times. That or Warren’s the type to sing in the shower, lol.
Either way, it made me think of Warren serenading Hypno, probably some Elton John or a bunch of cheesy love songs. Considering that Warren’s VA, John Michael Higgins, actually IS a good singer, I hope Warren gets to sing in the show at some point, even if he isn’t singing directly to Hypno.
