Hello Thyroid Friends!
Sorry for not updating in a while. This spring has been so busy for me, with work, choir practice, band practice, volunteer work, yoga, therapy etc. Haha I have no full time job but I still manage to keep myself busy. And I would like to say that I've been healthy, apart from some severe anxiety attacks. But my therapist says that when it comes to mental health it's; "when it feels like you're drowning, it actually means that your're healing" so I try to stay positive evan when life feels super hard.
Hopefully I will be able to post more during the summer, which is great right?
What's weird about summer is that I used to prefer winter for almost all my life (mostly because of christmas and my birthday ^^). But for the last 3 summers I've loved because, well I allmost don't get any thyroid symtoms which I'm so glad about. I allmost feel healthy during the summer. Of course I live in Sweden where it's so cold and dark during the winter so everyone here turns into zombies, but I escpecially feel the Thyroid symtoms in the fall/winter/spring area but now I'm optimistic and hyper during summer.
I've asked about this on forums and other Thyroid patiens with under active Thyroids feel the same. But of course I realize that is is not the case for everybody, but I do hope all of you can enjoy summer no matter what the state of your Thyroid and/or health is.
So basically, please just enjoy summer! I know, I will.
And look out for the next chapter of The Typical Thyroid! I'm so happy that The Typical Thyroid is growing, both here and on Facebook evan when I haven't updated in a while. Thank you so much, everyone!
