A/N: It's a little shorter than I usually prefer to write, but since they're so young I wanted to keep it completely innocent and physical affection down to a minimum. I also apologize for taking so long. Life's a little hectic at the moment 😅

and hiro's like annoyed bc he's always annoyed he's being forced to play with this quiet girl

she happily accepts and munches with that one smile on her face

i really believe she knows it's the little things matter the most so she's always aware of the affection behind his actions
they totally share an umbrella if one of them forgets

i also fully believe they understand each other well enough to be able to not always have to say what's on their mind

she definitely slept on his shoulder at one point
usually she sleeps on haru's arm, but once she was more tired than she realized and dozed off, eventually slumping over onto hiro's shoulder
it surprised him, but he just adjusted to make sure she was comfortable
they're just relaxed with each other like that
he puts band-aids on her cuts and scrapes for her
he also picks out the pretty ones because he knew she'd like them but anyway
he definitely is always paying attention to her expressions and posture

Cuddling w/ Hiro Headcanons -
He is 100% down to cuddle literally wherever or whenever.
Doesn’t matter if you’re his friend or his partner if you ask for a hug you’re getting a hug.
Dude is just really easy going, all you have to do is ask.
He loves it when you sit on his lap so he can rest his head on your shoulder.
If the two of you are a couple he’ll probably kiss your temple or the top of your head every now and then.
Usually cuddling with him is a pretty casual thing, like if you’re watching a movie or something he’ll just pull you close.
Or one of you will just hold your arms open till the other one gets the message and pulls them into a hug.
But also!!! It’s one of the best ways to calm him down.
Like, whether it be in the killing game, or just a stressful situation in general, Hiro can get pretty worked up when sudden reality hits.
It might not fix everything, but having someone there to hold him and get him out of his own head until he calms down really helps.
He’s very thankful if you’re there for him during those moments, instead of being put off or even laughing because of the mood change like other people might be.
In times like that having the two of you wrapped up with each other just makes him feel a lot safer.
Also! Expect lots of cuddle naps.
Once the two of you get comfortable neither one of you wants to move for awhile, so it’s incredibly common for you both to fall asleep like that.
Overall 10/10 cuddler just wants to relax with you and feel comforted, I see cozy movie nights in y’all’s future.

i bet hiro has no idea when girls and/or guys are hitting on him
he’s at that awkward teenage stage where dating is somewhat coming into the agenda, and girls his age that come to the cafe openly flirt with him but he just hasn’t got a clue
and everyone thinks that since he’s so intelligent that he just politely turns them down but the truth his he really genuinely just misses the hints
“wanna go out sometime?” “oh, sorry i have assignments to catch up on, thanks for asking though!”
he’s just so oblivious and nobody suspects anything different
he has about 500 female friends and the majority of them started off trying to start a romantic relationship with him that he just didn’t follow up at all and ended up becoming really good friends with them instead
they all grew to love his awkward, dorky, nerdy self. loveable knucklehead
he builds a really intense relationship with karmi because he feels very strongly for her but completely platonically
at first she thinks he’s hitting on her, but then she learns that his behaviour is exhibited with all of his female friends and she just kind of smiles to herself knowingly
since hiros not too good with strangers anyway, it’s interesting to watch him subtly mingle his way out of dates and whatnot whenever he works part time at the cafe

Hiroshi when he was a baby and even when he gets older he’s still super affection. He loves to get kisses and loves to kiss back so be mindful of that. He really loves to copy what we do, if we tickle him he wants to try to do the same. If we hoop his nose he wants to do the same. He’s a very laughable and easily to make giggle child. Shiroe loves kissing his little stomach and listening to him laugh, but if you stop he gets so upset. He just loves the attention.

When I was pregnant with Hiro, Shiroe did the same thing he had with the twins and constantly talks to him. Like all the time, rubbing my stomach and telling him all about how excited he is to see him. One time Shiroe was doing so when we had guests over and I was beside myself giggling and blushing.
To the point that fucking Naotsugu thought that for some reason he was talking to him? He had kicked my stomach rather roughly when Shiroes hand was resting in it.
"Is someone a little excited today?"
"What? I mean, I guess I'm-"
Akatsuki freaking slaps him before he can finish and we're all staring st him like what the he'll are you talking about.
Genuine affection/compliments is a really easy way to do it. Yeah, sure they're flirtatious as all hell but they don't usually expect people to respond? Especially so if they're less about physical appearance and more about their personality or quality of character. He don't have a lot of self-confidence in that regard, and hide it by a layer of snark/an bit of an attitude. So, someone bypassing that and genuinely complimenting them? He genuinely wouldn't know how to respond, or might try to laugh it off--because there's no way they could possibly mean that. Right? He also blushes fairly easy, and if someone points it out, it's even more noticable. You can tell he's flustered because he'll start having trouble with eye-contact/will fidget more. That might get a feisty comment though, particularly if he feels like he's being made fun of.

In the sense of a childish sort of bullying/teasing--no. He never found himself in an environment where that was something he struggled with--and he would have been quick to confront any sort of bully. He's never been particularly good at keeping his mouth shut. As an adult, in a way? He'd describe that less as bullying and more as outright manipulation/abuse though. It's certainly a large aspect of why he's not intially very trusting of people/assumes they have ill intent upon first meeting them. There's a sense of pepetually waiting for the other shoe to drop--how long is the facade going to last?
30.) Do they believe in the afterlife?
No, and honestly it's a part of why the concept of death scares him. He's spent so much of his life always trying to survive, to make sure he comes out in one piece. The thought of death/dying genuinely rattles him. He's not religious, and has a hard time believing in something he doesn't have tanglible proof of--part of why the concept of an afterlife seems so foreign to him. He's typically pretty skeptical--the altercations with the monk and maelstorm cyberpsyscho pushed the limits of that. Hell if he'd actually admit it though, and it's hard to tell when he's predisposed to throw himself into fights without a second thought. The recklessness usually overrides any residual fear of death.
