Found a Hiroshima-yaki place with outdoor seating! It’s the Hiroshima version of okonomiyaki, distinct mainly for the layer of crispy fried noodles. We tried a yakisoba one with sour plum, shiso, and nori (very unusual flavor combo for this dish!) and a yakiudon one with kimchi. Outside means you don’t get to flip it yourself, but it’s still very tasty!

ミックス広島焼き // Mixed Hiroshimayaki This is an interesting take on Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. It’s more filling than standard okonomiyaki because of the bottom layer of fried noodles (yum) and this one has a mix of toppings: pork, shrimp, squid, and lots of cheese. And yeah, it looks like nachos.
