Last episode just made me think of possessive Zoro! Imagine how hot he would be if someone tried to hit on Law or kidnap him in front of him, he would go all Demon on them to rescue his mate! And Law would be speechless and turn on by seeing this side of Zoro and knowing he's the one Zoro is possessive of.
I don't know. Zoro is pretty good about either shrugging things off or else trusting the people around him to be strong enough to stay safe.
If some guy makes a some innuendo filled comments while Zoro and Law are walking together, it doesn't even register to Zoro ("Eh? Why would I mind him showing you he could swallow a kiwi whole? He was selling them. I could probably swallow like three at once, it's not even that impressive.")
If someone is crazy enough to kidnap Law, well, Zoro wishes them luck. Clearly they know nothing about Trafalgar D. Waters Law. ("What.... Was I suppose to babysit him of something? Torao is fine, he'll escape when he wants to escape.")
You might get some side eye if someone were to got on Law, in a bar, buying him a drink, hanging off his shoulder, while Law seems to be actually enjoying himself. Oh, yeah, that will get you some.major side eye while Zoro makes snide comments. Of course, he'll deny it to the death if asked.
But.... You know what would get to Zoro? Heaven help the first swordman that Law notices. And if that swordman makes the mistake of smiling at Law.
Look, Zoro might not get flirting (Law learned the hard way), he may have a certain level of Zoro Chill that allows him to not worry about shit like his captain being forced into prison labour or Law getting himself kidnapped, he may trust the people around him not to be cheating assholes.....
But Zoro does understand swords and swordmen, and swordsmen don't just smile at one another like that. It's not natural. And the next time he wants to smile at Law like that he should consider how many Shichibukai have failed to kill Zoro despite their best efforts.
Law: There you are, Zoro-ya. I had just assumed at this point that you were either lost or causing trouble.
Zoro: I don't get lost, Torao.
Zoro: And what do you mean by trouble, eh?
Swordsmen: *Outside, curled up in alley, the fear of Zoro permanently marked upon their very soul*
It's not that Zoro is openly possessive, I'd say. It's that holy hell of he ever does get that way you wanna get the fuck out of there. Possibly abandon the island all together.
