It had been a long day.
A ten-by-ten cubicle, the constant ringing of the phones, countless hours of data entry. The same thing every day with no give, nothing new, same ole same ole. A job that was meant to be temporary, but became permanent, Elijah didn't reckon he had much of a soul left. He wasn't sure what it would take now to find something else, really, or if he even wanted to.
The pay was good, at least, it kept him fed and clothed with a roof over his head, so that was definitely a bonus.
With a hefty sigh, Elijah hiked his messenger bag over his shoulder and had his keys in hand, ready to slide into the lock so he could escape to his own private slice of the world. However, tonight it was different; he noticed some commotion across the hall from his apartment, boxes in the hallway. The door was open and he peeked in; he had a ten second debate with himself on whether to say something about the hazard in the hallway before he finally did it. "Um -- excuse me?" he called into the apartment. "Hello?"

Katherine was born in Nevada in 1993 as the younger Petrova twin. The twins were put into foster care and separated at the tender age of five when Tatia was adopted. Katherine stayed in the system until she was 18.
She lived with the same foster family from ages 8-16 and used their last name, Pierce. She began calling herself Katherine around the same time. It helped separate her from the family who rejected her, and acclimate to the new one, even if the new one wasn’t great.
Katherine had a child at the age of 16. Her daughter lived with her and the foster family for a little while before being taken away by Social Services due to an incident. Katherine was also placed in a new family after that, as were the other children in the household until she turned 18.
People would often comment on her beauty, so Katherine headed to Los Angeles to try her hand at modeling. It wasn’t very stimulating work, but it paid. She began working for Meretrix at 19 and has been there ever since. It felt a bit like joining the circus, in the sense that the other employees felt like her new family away from a society that would never understand their world.
She has no custody of her child and after some under the table searching, discovered Nadia was adopted to a middle class parents. It’s a closed adoption, so contact is not allowed nor is Katherine supposed to know any information at all.
Her specialties include the girlfriend experience, playing an international date for events, vacation experience, playing accents and requested ‘types’ of women. She does not strip or do burlesque dancing.

Having compelled a witch to due his bidding and now here he stood in a foreign while his body locked away in a special place where none of his enemies can track it and attempt to kill him off permanently. Stepping out from a hidden home far off New Orleans he grinned straightening his suit off why was this human wearing it in the middle of nowhere? shaking his thoughts he looked ahead some freedom yet he was vulnerable to his enemies. Klaus grinned now that the witch had given him some sense of power being fully equipped as a warlock, while stepping out he turned capturing a glance was it Elena or Katherine? a doppelganger in his sight now that couldn’t be true the world sending him a sign.
Klaus did shift his direction towards the brunette at first he would pretend to know her and break down her guard somewhat easily, as he moved closer he sense familiarity someone he had opened up to it couldn’t be. Opening his mouth it felt foreign to him being in a new body yet he made bold moves and choices to meet the young brunette “Katherine? I thought you were dead.”
