This is so beautiful- it’s a historic 1907 lighthouse keepers home on an island 5 mi. off the coast of Maine, still on the market for $1,975,000. (I guess millionaire’s don’t like quaint, cozy, and vintage.) The island has a year-round population and daily boat service to the mainland. There’s also a 2 bdrm. guest house and 2 cabins on the property.  

There’s a direct path to the lighthouse right from the house.

Isn’t this cute? And, it’s completely turn-key, b/c all the furnishings are included.

It’s currently used as a summer residence, so they have this dining room set up for guests, but it’s a single family home. Look at that view from the window.

Fully equipped chef’s kitchen is soooo country. 

Beautiful stairs.

The main house has 4 bdrms.

I don’t know if these come with it, but they’re pretty cool.

The gov’t. is auctioning off some fixer upper lighthouses. This is the Grays Reef Lighthouse in Michigan.

Most of them are in terrible condition, but this one looks more like a house inside.

This tiled room could definitely be a shower and bathroom.

Bedroom or living room. 

Den or bedroom.

Office, workroom, craft space.

Definitely the kitchen.
