Ok. So I recently came upon this post: hitlervevo: my social studies teacher once told us “human beings are the most selfish of all. even when someone dies, you shed tears only because they are no more around to provide you with whatever they had been for so long” and it has been 3 years since she said this and this is still what i think about at night (Sorry. I don't know how to include the original post!) And it kinda hit hard. I just lost someone recently and I would cry and cry because, you know, they're gone and I will never see them again, I will never get to say good bye. But reading this...I just can't help but feel, maybe I'm selfish because instead of focusing on the fact they are no longer suffering or in pain, I'm focusing on how they left me alone... Unsure how to feel...
