Day 96: Beast

“No one knows who prince Adam is!” Hitu argued.

“We’ll if we're naming half of them after princesses and half after princes, what do you suggest we call him?” Zainab demanded. “We can’t name a space probe Beast!”

“So we just picks different couple!”

“But Belle would be the perfect princess to go to space! She loves knowledge! She’d be so excited about it! You can’t not send her!”

“Are you two still arguing over the princes’ names?” Karen asked.

“Over space probe names,” Hitu corrected.

“Karen, tell her people know who Prince Adam is,” Zainab demanded.

“Sorry Zainab, it’s not in the title and they don’t call him by name. I don’t think most people know it.”

Day 11: Viral

Karen sighed and rubbed her temples. “Zainab, can you please get Hitu? And then explain everything you know about social media to me.”

“Okay,” Zainab said, disappearing briefly into the lab and returning with Hitu. “What do you need to know about social media, exactly?”

“Is going viral a bad thing?” Karen angled the computer screen towards them to show them the P.A.A.L. instagram page, where the latest post had… well, a lot more comments and likes than usual. And they were being tagged in other people’s posts. 

“Depends on what went viral.” Zainab said.

“Our post about the women in STEM that work here?”

“That’s definitely a good thing.” Hitu smiled. “Good work Karen.”
