How does your Guardian react to crushing Hive Ghosts?
Magnus: Won't do it. Can't do it. No. He did what he had to so he'd get through and kill Savathun, but that's it. No more. Kahun: Doesn't see Hive Ghosts as Ghosts. Will crush without mercy. Anthem-99: What must be done must be done, and he's not afraid to get his hands dirty to do that. Velliks: Can't bring himself to crush them. At all. Gadrax: Will crush them reluctantly, then mourn them afterward with an Ether ritual. Lazarus: Literally cannot fathom how anyone can crush a Ghost, Hive or not.
ARE WE VIBIN YET, MY GAMERS??
HOW BOUT THAT STREAM, THO HHHHHHH
Phovoth being a nightmare

Drabble: Just... Go.
Echo stepped into her cache, ballyhook hand cannon hanging loosely from her fingers. There had been the faint hum of chatter as there always was between hive ghosts. Sometimes she tried to join in, tried to find a way to figure out a solution between them that didn't involve killing but now the alcoves where she kept her imprisoned ghosts stood dark and empty.
She'd tried. She'd tried so hard to find a way to solve things that didn't involve killing them... But that was before the break out... before they hurt her Pack...
"Leave," she'd said to their hesitant, questioning gazes after being released. "Leave before I kill you."
It was a hint that couldn't be missed. A warning. A plea.
Her head jerked up, her hand cannon trained on a hive ghost that froze mid-air.
"Wait-" it began, retreating a bit.
Echo narrowed her optics in a halfhearted glower. "I told you... to leave."
"I know," the Hive ghost said, bobbing its body in a nod. "But I wanted to come back and say... thank you. I don't know what happened to make you change what you're doing, but you could've shot all of us and been done with it. But you didn't. You let us go, even at your own detriment... You let us go home."
The turquoise exo lowered her hand cannon. "... it's what I would've wanted..." she said softly, "for someone to be merciful to my ghost."
"Maybe someday we will," the hive ghost mused, drifting a bit closer. "When our swords aren't pointed at each other anymore."
Echo looked up and smiled half-heartedly at the ghost. "Yeah... maybe we will... when the war is finally over," she said, holstering her hand canon.
The ghost gave a bobbing nod, glancing back out of the cavern before looking at her again. "Fare faren, ghost keeper," the ghost said. Echo gave a soft chuff and gave a small nod to the ghost.
"Fare faren, hive light," she said and watched as the ghost drifted away. As she watched the hive ghost go, Whisper appeared beside her.
"Echo?" she asked, looking at her guardian. "Are you okay?"
Echo gazed at the cavern entrance where the ghost had departed, her expression unreadable. Finally, she spoke and gave a small nod. "Yeah," she said softly, still gazing at the entrance, "I... I think I am."
The exo had come with hurt and anger in her heart. But now... now it felt soothed... somewhat healed.
A hive ghost had returned and thanked her...
Perhaps there was hope in this after all...
