1. She's a professional dancer. She's trained in almost every style of dance, but specifies in Taka dancing, which requires agility and perfect reflexes. It's one of the hardest forms of dance.
2. She performs at Taka-related events and ceremonies, usually in Taka temples. One type of dance involves the dancers dressed in elaborate clothing, and they must avoid objects thrown at them. The objects are usually weapons and can seriously injure the dancer or damage their clothing. The clothing cannot be hit during the dance, and the dancer must completely avoid all objects whilst performing a series of dance moves. They aren't allowed to simply dodge the objects, they need to make their movements look nice as well.
Taka dancers will also have a "fake" battle, in which they fight each other, but again their movements are elaborate, graceful and visually pleasing. They will usually deal real damage to their opponent during the battle, but most Taka dances are rehearsed beforehand, so any damage is prepared for.
3. Suela has a male dance partner who she performs with in most of her dances/battles.
4. Because of her job, she has excellent reflexes and spacial awareness, even more so than the average hiveakan.
5. Also because of her job, she tends to move gracefully and elaborately when she fights or trains, even if it's just at home with members of her family.
7. Her name means 'victory', and she will absolutely not tolerate failure. If she ever came second in anything she would have a meltdown.
8. Her parents named her so because Suela started life as a twin pregnancy, but destroyed her twin in the womb. Her parents considered this to be her first battle won.
9. When she was 26 she won the Takákat Keitto, Taka’s Tournament. This is a week-long annual combat tournament that commences on the first day of Taka’s month, during the Taka Festival. Every year the winner is able to dine with the royal family during the evening of the festival - this is how Suela met Taka. She won the tournament, of course. She also performed as a dancer during the same festival.
10. After becoming a keika Suela didn't give up her career, but she performs less. She tends to perform for the Taka Festival every year, and will perform for major events, but she doesn't take on low-profile jobs anymore. She has also performed abroad.
11. She has two daughters, both of whom are potential heirs to the throne, although her youngest has openly stated she doesn't want the crown.
12. She was born and grew up in Meitona. She was actually in the Hive at the same time as King Taka, although they didn't meet during their time there. They share a birthday and she is exactly a year younger than him.
13. She went on a pilgrimage when she was 44. She was only supposed to leave for two months, but she never returned and was declared a korota, shaming herself and her family. King Taka then forbade anyone for ever speaking her name in Meitona Palace again, and had all images of her destroyed.
