The cast of the NHK’s 96th asadora “Hiyokko” reunited today at the 68th annual Kouhaku Uta Gassen for a special short episode! ❤️

Summary: Mineko’s friends and family all meet at Suzufurite to celebrate the new year and to toast Mineko and Hide’s recent marriage. The popular musician Hamaguchi Kuranosuke (played by Kuwata Keisuke, singer of Hiyokko’s opening theme), accidentally joins their festivities and hilarity ensues as he sings his beloved hit song “Namida-Kun Sayonara,” a favourite of the Yatabe family. At last, all is well.
