Does anyone else with CVID ever go to start your infusion and then just kind of sit there for a while? Like I always get my Hizentra ready and get the line primed and then I just kind of stare at it. It takes me a solid half hour to get the motivation to actually start.

Procrastinating Once Again...

I think it is easy to do when you are not feeling well but I need to overcome this it’s getting late.  The coffee is on and my Hizentra is waiting, if only the Tylenol would kick in before I have to begin. 

On the brighter side: I have a blanket and my laptop which is like a combination heat pack and entertainment all in one-GENIUS!.  I felt guilty purchasing it a few years ago but I’m over it, it is a much needed part of my life.  The heat feels so good on the needles in my leg and it is self warming! It’s especially nice tonight  after shivering all day in the air conditioned office. I realize it was 90 outside and most people would appreciate the air conditioning I just don’t share that appreciation.  My mom was always hot and she used to say “If your cold you can wear a sweater, but being hot is miserable” So I had my sweater on today and a nap in my warm car at lunch which was glorious!

Starting hyqvia infusions tomorrow and super excited! No more weekly subq infusions with three needles now it's just once a month and one needle after the initial ramp up period. I really hope it all goes well tomorrow and I don't have any issues
