Could I please request a scenario where my girl arnheid actually gets a happy ending with Gardar and her son who is actually alive all along. I swear nothing broke me more than her story 😭😭😭

Usually, I don’t write for ships, but FUCK YEAH! Arnheid and Gardar deserve a happy life together. I hope you like, it. Enjoy! 💕

 The swallow 

Arnheid sighs when rise the bucket full of water of the river and cleans the drops of sweat that decorate her forehead. She can’t avoid to observe the landscape, Iceland is different, but has a beauty that seems from another world, seems taken of the sagas and other legends of giants and wizards. Arnheid draws a little smile, it’s genuine and overflowing of happiness. She touches one of his wrists, although she didn’t have chains in her skin, she could feel how any other slave the weight of the chains of the slavery on her. Arnheid shakes the head and takes the bucket, she needs to come back at the home to start to cook.

To walk through the snow is difficult, and more with the weight of the water in his shoulders, but she’s a strong women, she can do a lot of things, how to free her husband and her son of the slavery. She can do anything. So, when she enters in his home, meets Gardar speaking with Hjalti, her son isn’t a child anymore, he’s a strong young man and he has inherited the ginger colour of the hair of his father.

“What’s happens?” Arnheid asks taking the first bucket.

Hjalti approaches to his mother to help her, they put the buckets in the kitchen and Arnheid pours the liquid in the cooking pot to start to cook the stew of fish. She gifts a thankful smile at her son, and he returns her one.

“We was talking about the sheep, there’s one that is pregnant” Gardar answers.

The eyebrows of Arnheid raises and she looks at Gardar very surprised, her face lights up and she draws a big smile.

“It’s a great new”.

“It’s!” Hjalti says, he’s pretty excited, too, his eyes shine and he imitates the smile of his mother, “If our cattle continues grows, we could have a big farm. And we could make a lot of money and life in a bigger house”.

The hand of Gardar falls with tenderness on the shoulder of his son, Hjalti looks at his father surprised, and suddenly he realizes that he was more dreaming than thinking, but Gardar pats the back of his son and show him a smile.

“Not a big farm, but a good and big dinner, yes”.

The silence of the house breaks for the laugh of Arnheid, the two man look at her surprised; she can smile a lot of, but rarely she laughs so hard and happy like right now. Gardar and Hjalti imitate her.

They are live and they’re free.
