I haven't drawn anything for my Hjerte AU in quite awhile. And yeah, it's the dragon hunter Shadow from that one mobile game. I've been wanting to add him to this AU for awhile and now I finally have. I plan to do an alternate outfit for him eventually, so you can all see his beautiful face.
Anyway, here's some info on him:
As the knight-commander for the kingdom of Aronia, Sir Duncan maintains the peace the kingdom has seen thus far. He personally trained Amelinda after she passed the test to become a squire (Amy's known him since she was young and has always called him Shadow because it would annoy him. Once the crown princess started doing it he gave up trying to correct them).
In addition to becoming the knight-commander, he is one of only a handful of knights to have conquered a dragon and been named 'Dragon Hunter'. Dragon Hunters consume the hearts of the slain beast, thus gaining access to not only their powers, but an increased lifespan as well. The dragon heart they consume melds with their body, manifesting draconic eyes in the person that claimed the heart. No one knows what happens when multiple hearts are consumed. There are rumors that Sir Duncan's count numbers in the hundreds to thousands, but no one can say for sure.
Naturally, Amy's disguised dragon friend gets VERY nervous whenever the knight-commander happens to be near.
