Think outside the box.

Did you know that during the "Space Race" between the US and USSR to put the first man on the moon, when they were trying to figure out how to help astronauts use a pen in space to make notes, the US spent tens of millions of dollars in developing a pen that could write upside down (because the ink doesn't "flow" to enable the pen to write), and the Soviets....

...gave their astronauts pencils.
