The sun is out, and I feel quite....relaxed? and somewhat less confused about my ideologies

21:

Rehearsal was alright and I managed to get all the paperwork in on time 

Was decently unproductive the rest of the day 

Told dad about the thing and I am somewhat comforted by his promise 

I practiced nomenclature while cooking quinoa nerd

But oh, mother, how emotionally unavailable you are 

Family dinner was kinda awkssss bc of that

Not being able to fall asleep is gr8

“Why didn’t you come yesterday? We were waiting for you.” ... ”I was waiting for you along with others” ... “But we’re all friends, I thought we were all going’ ... “We missed you a lot” ... “Wish you were there”

You missed the person you and everyone else never told that there was a meet up? nice one. 

22:

I love early mornings at school tbh, I actually get stuff done except I also sleep an hour less 

Shanghai: Sin City was borderline amusing and creepy, but quickly turned depressing 

I hate group projects 

I need someone to explain the 1911 Revolution to me 

Bio was a draaaaagggggg I almost fell asleep 

Chem was....refreshing? relaxed? 

Missed rehearsal, went to the car dealership to observe service appt dealings, bonded with Dad, saw pretty cars for decent prices, drank too much french vanilla, read Flipped, walked the dog.

The front seat belt got fixed, but I don’t know if I’m ready to sit in the passenger seat. I rather enjoyed the back....

I’m going to the school play with my sister! 

Hamlet is going to be the death of me.

History - Finishing up Lenin and Trotsky for the essay on Monday, discussing results of yesterday’s debate, no walk because of the rain.  “You have to do something fun tonight.”

English - we watch a boring ass movie on Orwell ew

Lunch - I got my semi ticket!! Now to figure out what to wear and who to hang out with so I don’t end up 7th wheeling l o l 

TOK - I totally am not spacing out again.

Chem - halp

After school - the fun actually comes around.

I don’t know what to do about my mother or Jack Z. 

I don’t know how I feel about the weekend coming up. All I know is that there’s not enough time in the day.

History: I made Croswell’s day today, I think I’ve reached my highest point with him.

“Anastasiya, our goal is to be someone’s trophy something right?” “uhhhhh why can’t I just be the rich one and a trophy to myself, like dealing with people is so bleh, like Joyce is exhausting” *Croswell collapses with laughter

*During debate, Monissa makes a statement instead of asking a question; I tag in to challenge her; she makes a personal comment when I try to tag out but no one on my team let’s me (something like “see, no one wants to tag in because what you’re saying is so irrelevant”) my reply: Ok Monissa, I just went from nice person to bitch mode. *Croswell desperately trying to avoid a war :’) He’s happy that the Anastasiya he missed is finally back.

(I also loved my group for the tag team debate on why Bolsheviks won the Russian Civil War (for once my group had people I liked/ could actually work with)).

English: More Orwell and more notes. Somehow the period goes by so much faster.

Lunch: we celebrate Chiara’s birthday with a brownie cake and candles and really off-key singing :) Marshmallow, I wish you the best. Love, mom. 

TOK: I’m totally not spacing out on the lecture

Chem: work period. I totally understand this unit.

After school: chill at school/Starbucks until Joyce get’s picked up. Afterwards, I bused to the Starbucks at Dufferin&Mackenzie and work on history until closing (10; also when my mom finished her shift)

My mom had to drive another coworker home, so I had to sit in the back seat which is also where we keep this piggy backpack that we use as a pillow. When I was getting into the car and moving around my school bag, I knocked it down a bit and heard an all too familiar sploosh of liquid against glass. I didn’t want to believe it, god, how I wanted it to be my brain playing tricks on me, but nope... as I unzipped the backpack, I quite clearly saw, despite the dim lights, a bottle of liqueur, it’s amber serenity causing a tide to drown my in the deafening silence.

I feel so betrayed.

English: Handed in my Statement of Intent today!! Also, I’m quite enjoying Orwell and have been keeping pristine notes and annotations of his essays 

TOK: presentation plan approved 

Chem: what is even going on I’m so confused by this unit halp

Band: Horner talks about his father and death in general. I’m totally not praying that a tear doesn’t roll down my face.

At home, I did  the thing where I slept for 5 hours (7:30-12:30), then worked until 4 on EE and then slept again until 7:30. I got all my annotations transferred to the outline!!

Avoided the dance party. I’m not sure why I’m doing it this time. 

I finished my TOK journal

Statement of Intent is still a work in progress 

TOK work period was surprisingly productive, yaaas 

Falling asleep in Chem sigh 

Fell asleep on the way home, dance successfully yanked the rest of my energy out. 

You’re actually causing me so many problems; how do you expect me to go up to him and ask for computer help if you just decided to take it to IT and now I don’t even know what’s wrong with it or what you need, yet you demand me to help out. You started this. Finish it. Because I’m not down to get my ass roasted.
