You never stop being the Dancing Queen

Some time ago I saw a post where someone was Being Sad about not being 17 (The Dancing Queen) anymore. Another person responded VERY WISELY: “You don’t stop being The Dancing Queen just because you are not 17 anymore! Seventeen just marks the beginning of your reign!” For some reason, that just really hit me, emotionally.

And SO, it is my pleasure to announce the FORTIETH ANNIVERSARY of my ascension to the throne (of Dancing Queen)!!! Thank you, ABBA!

I shall wear rubies (ok, they're probably garnets) to mark the occasion.
