15. A book that I never thought I'd be into but was proven wrong. I feel like I had a lot of the opposite happen and not so much the latter. I'm pretty open (I think) when it comes to trying books outside my regular type. I did give Something Is Killing The Children another shot and I'm loving it this time around when I dropped out previously and found it boring. So there's that.
22. What are some books I discovered this year that I added to my tbr? Okay, I need to preface this by disclosing that I work in a comic shop, so sometimes I'll just browse the merchandise and take pics of titles I want to check out (see also: see if the library has for free). I'll also do this anytime I have to go through things. So I am CONSTANTLY finding new stuff. Just today, I found Machine Girl and the Space Hell Engels that looks fun. Also someone in my book club recommended Dark Archives: A Librarian's Investigation into the Science and History of Books Bound in Human Skin. So you know, just easy breezy books XD

12. Did any book inspire me to create? MUGEN SPIRAL. I found the books used at GameXchange and went, "I remember reading this, I think I liked them" so I rebought them and refell in love and they are FOREVER UNFINISHED so now I want them to be finished, even if I gotta do the goddamn thing myself *insert several crying emojis here*. Also I really want to draw the little fox child in Monstress but I haven't done it yet. Same with Cobra Commander in the new trade paperback. OH and Black Clover! Magna's design was just so cool that I actually drew him! I tried to draw the demon guy from Dark Ride but I didn't do a good job. Whomp whomp. And of course, Obey Me! The Comic. That one..... it started a Whole Thing.
25. If I had to give a TEDTalk on a book I read this year, for better or worse, which would it be? Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood. I reread that book this year and it remains one of my favorites and drives up my obsession each time I read it. Fun fact: I picked it up for a school reading project and had to do a presentation on it, so yeah, I can just expand on that at this point lol.
4. If you DNF any books, what was the pettiest reason you put a book down this year?
It wasn't a manga lol. I kept picking up books that were actually novels and not comics, despite the covers. So Nope! That wasn't what I was looking for.

Inu got me into this manga, Library Wars, and now I'm reading all of it, I am Obsessed and it is honestly so good and a real light toward the wrongs of purity culture and censorship. Like not even trying to be subtle.
