Happy Tuesday y’all! This weekend was the perfect mixture of a busy and lazy. On Saturday, my family and I went to the 49th Annual Half Moon Bay Arts & Pumpkin Festival. We get there early every year to beat the crowds and have breakfast at the cutest cafe on Main Street. The event starts promptly at 9:00 am, we stroll along with drinks in hand to explore all the cute shops and set-up stages. You guessed it, EVERYTHING pumpkin! This year I bought a pair of beautiful earrings and LOTS of festival food. Did you even go if you didn’t try the Pumpkin Chili? I for sure had to get a slice of pumpkin pie the size of my face and it did not disappoint. The day ended for us around 1:00 in the afternoon with the hometown parade portion of the festival. I love the Autumn season here in Northern California. 

Sunday was lazy-ish. I woke up early enough to go to the Burlingame Farmers Market, which I LOVE to frequent when I can. Don’t forget to bring your re-usable grocery/produce bags to avoid plastic! Pro-tip: I stash mine in the trunk of my car for convenience. The produce at the Burlingame Farmers Market is always amazing but the prices can be fairly steep for certain items given the neighborhood. Therefore my haul is typically smaller at this farmers market particularly. This time around I purchased: a huge head of Cauliflower, Baby Bokchoy, Pomegranates, and some Brussel Sprouts. Nothing to crazy! I just really love the environment of any Farmers Market really, it is super exciting to me. Am I weird? I just really like food. It’s such an awesome feeling knowing that you are buying local and supporting local businesses as well. 

After the market, I made a stop to get myself a Philz Coffee (in my re-usable cup of course), I ALWAYS order an Iced Gingersnap coffee even if it’s cold outside. I seriously hate the way hot coffee tastes, am I crazy? With that caffeine kick I was able to accomplish quite a bit when I got home. My room is in constant disarray so I making an active effort to de-clutter and give away as many articles/items as possible. I filled up two trash bags worth of clothing and a box of books I wasn’t reading or using anymore. I am going to continue to try and minimize the amount of possessions I have in my space. All the clutter is starting to really stress me out, I want my room to be my zen space. It feels like the process has been super slow recently because I am easily distracted. On Sunday, I didn’t necessarily see results right away but I will keep working at it. Hopefully with time I will see bigger and better results.
