on my rewatch i think an understated thing about midnight is the compassion and curiosity that ten has for the entity and how that gets taken advantage of, how it's part of what causes the passengers turn on him... wish that story beat could have been incorporated into/addressed in the well somehow
#hmmm ..#i think the well would make for a more proper sequel if it had explored this#what if the roles were reversed somehow and the doctor was the one that wanted to destroy the entity#but no one else believed him and that caused everyone to turn on him#ahhhhhhhh. very frustrating#midnight is obv still as good as it ever was it's just frustrating that the well is ALMOST a worthy sequel to it#dr who#10 era#15 era#dw spoilers#rohan don't look
