Every single time i listen to 'Open Arms' from 'Epic the musical' I see the lotus eaters as human sized koroks and I think that says something

In the beginning there was nothing but darkness. And then the Everbeast uncurled from its sleep, stretched big and wide and its midnight black fur created the universe we live in now. Two creatures emerged from the depths of the Everbeast's greatness. A stag, graceful and smart, with antlers so magestic the sun, warmth itself, settled between them. And a mighty wolf, brave and strong, with fur so beautiful it sparkled like pure silver.

But as it is the nature of bests, the two creatures were not meant to be friends. Maybe the world as we know it would have been different, if the wolf with its gleaming fangs hadn't been created with the all-consuming hunger of the second born. But as things are now, it chases the stag for all eternity, up and down the space of the Everbeast. As they run across the everlasting darkness, sparks fly up from underneath their legs. Whirling through the universe until they settle in the Everbeast's fur like glowing embers, where they will stay until they fade into the darkness.

The stag and the wolf created the stars, the day and the night and with it time was born.
