tfw you love a ship but looking in the tag just makes you tired all over bc a bunch of the most prolific posters in the tag also have the most basic/un-nuanced takes (and also these massive superiority complexes that ooze out of every word) and you have to physically fight the urge to ‘well actually’ every other post....i’ve never really experienced losing interest in an OTP bc of the fandom before (usually if that happens it was a ship i didn’t care for much to begin with) and it’s not pleasant smfh
