ok so let’s say one day, before Nicky’s death, he asks his mom who her first love was. in this idea, Agatha won’t let Rio be a part of Nicky’s life etc etc

Agatha hesitantly describes Rio, leaving out like all the parts about her being death and what not and tells Nicky, “that’s your mami,”

so when Rio comes to pick up Nicky, he’s not afraid of her because he recognizes her from Agatha’s description. He even calls her his mami.

Sirius having a hatred of the Slytherins annoys me. A) James is the one to make the comment about rather leaving than being in the House, to which Sirius is not smiling and says his whole family has been there, so he’s clearly unamused by it; he even semi-defends it because when Snape says Gryffindor over Slytherin is fine if you’d rather be brawny than brainy, Sirius asks where he’s planning to go since he’s neither, implying he thinks Slytherin is better than Snape deserves. B) when he says Snape was part of a gang of Slytherins who all grew up to be Death Eaters, that literally just explains how Snape came to socialize with them as they’re in the same house? And it’s a straight up fact? He’s not hating them for being Slytherins, he’s disapproving of their life paths as homicidal bigots waging war

right like, just such an annoying little fanon factoid that has been accepted as general truth. i cannot tell u the amount of fics i’ve read where it’s just taken for granted that sirius is anti-slytherin. esp in the,,,indy/!harry ones, or where he’s in slytherin, or the grey/dark harry fics. just so much of-
