If House of Ashes was a full-length game (like Quarry and Until Dawn) and Merwin, Clarice, and Dar were playable survivors in addition to the main five, this is how I imagined their dialogue would be in the eclipse finale:
When the alien vampires pop up out of the ground: “Oh, fuck off! Get inside now!”
When asking about the eclipse: “Can anyone fucking tell me when the FUCK does the sun come back!?”
If someone else asks and Eric or Clarice isn’t around to explain: “Do I look like I know anything about fucking space!?”
If Eric and Clarice are around to explain the eclipse: “Six fucking minutes? Oh, kiss my motherfucking ass!”
Random dialogue during the showdown: “Ah shit, I’m out!” / “Fuck this shit!” / “I fucking hate Iraq!”
The flares: “What are we supposed to do with flares?! Scare them to death!” / “I ain’t going out like a bitch…grab a flare and let’s do this!”
When the alien vampires pop up out of the ground: “We can’t fight them with the eclipse underway! Just run!”
When someone asks how long the eclipse lasts and Eric isn’t around: “Uh…I believe we have six minutes!”
After explaining how long the eclipse is: “It’s six minutes, deal with it! So shut up and start shooting!”
Random dialogue during the showdown: “We’re gonna fucking die here!” / “Please, I just wanna go home!” / “Go away! Just go away!”
The flares: “Oh great, flares! At least we can see each other when the vampires rip us apart!” / “They’re afraid of light, we might have a chance. Light them up!”
3) Dar Basri / characters reacting to Dar
NOTE: Dar’s dialogue is unique since he doesn’t speak English. So imagine most of Dar’s dialogue in Arabic.
When the alien vampires pop up out of the ground: (in Arabic) “Get to the huts! Move it!”
When asking about the eclipse: (in Arabic) “How long will the eclipse last?”
If Jason is the other survivor: “English damn it, I don’t fucking speak Iraqi!”
If Nick is the other survivor: “Sorry bro, I didn’t understand a word you said!”
If Eric is the other survivor: “Sorry, my Arabic’s not too good. Just shoot at whatever’s coming our way!”
If Rachel is the other survivor: (in Arabic) “I don’t know! I’m not a scientist! But it should be only for a few minutes!”
If Salim is the other survivor: (in Arabic) “Maybe a minute? Five minutes? I don’t know!”
If Merwin is the other survivor: “Oh for fucks sake, I don’t speak terrorist!”
If Clarice is the other survivor: “Look, I don’t want to be mean…but I have no idea what the hell you just said.”
If Rachel or Salim asks Dar how long the eclipse will last: (in Arabic) “I don’t know, I never learned this subject!”
If anyone else asks Dar how long the eclipse will last: (in Arabic) “Fucking Americans, I can’t understand you! At least learn the language if you’re going to invade my country!”
Random dialogue during the showdown: (all in Arabic) “I survived the Americans, I’ll survive you monsters!” / “Damn it, out of ammo!” / “Go back to the pit you spawned from!”
The flares (when Rachel and Salim are present): (all in Arabic) “These are flares, not ammunition!” / “We will make do with what we got. We have no choice!”
The flares (with everyone else): (in broken English) “American…no ammo! Just flares!” / (in Arabic) “Come on American, we make do with what we’re given!”
