heck yes i did!

here’s a drawing of Saiki as a child, he got to pick his own superhero outfit, so it’s a little, um, mismatched. 

I also forgot to mention his powers in this au! he can basically replicate the powers of anyone near him within a certain distance, as well as skills (like baking or math). this range expands as he grows older, and eventually he needs limiters (this time its a watch) to stop himself from being overwhelmed with power.

if you look at his eyes, you’ll notice they’re very multi-colored, and that’s because when he gets someone’s powers, he also gains their eye color. If he isn’t using anyone’s powers, his eyes will be a very dull purple.

Also! the purple tshirt he’s wearing is actually his own merch! The NSHMS (National SuperHero Monitoring Service) basically owns the rights to his image and takes care of him when they need him to do something for them (spoilers: it wasn’t good for his mental health) So yeah Saiki grows up as a government weapon who they rely on WAY too much. When he was younger he thought it was so cool to be able to help, but as he got older he realized how controlling the NSHMS was and just how much they relied on him.

M&GM, for any character - what do you think about people who bite their nails

“Well, it’s not a good habit, I guess,” Elle says. “But it’s usually very hard to quit. Hm… I guess it’s not very different from a lot of other habits, just less sanitary. I’d probably want to get to the source of when they were biting their nails, and then try to exit those situations… which is easier said than done, of course!” Elle crosses their legs. “And potentially redirect into some other kind of fidget. Yes. I think that’s what I’d do.”

6. How do I get relaxed when I’m struggling to sleep?

If I’m having trouble sleeping I pick up a pen and paper and write. When I do this one of two things happens: Either I get super into what I’m writing and hours pass (but even if I lose out on sleep it’s productive!), or within 5 minutes I’m dead tired.

I don’t believe in struggling to force myself to sleep. If my body isn’t ready it will just frustrate me to try. There are also a couple Chinese characters I kind of cycle through. When I took Chinese in college I had the most trouble with drawing them right and would practice a lot. Now it’s almost a form of meditation for me, haha.

7. My favorite board game?

Ooo, my family never was the board game type. Parents couldn’t be bothered. But the few memories I have of playing, I absolutely loved The Game of Life or the original form of Mousetrap (I don’t like the new simplified version, I liked the one where you built the elaborate trap)!

Though like once every other year I go through a few weeks of either a Monopoly or Risk phase. I taught one of my mentor partners in Korea how to play Risk after his roommate annoyed me. Predictably, Ducky (Deok-Gi) loved it so much he forced his roommate to play against him for SIX HOURS STRAIGHT.

And thus my vengeance was complete.

First of all, never be afraid to speak to me! This goes for you and everybody. I know I come off as scary (?!) so please speak up whenever you like! That said unfortunately I am not into high fantasy and worldbuilding and dragons so I will have to decline, but I can only thank you for WLW recommendations!! I am glad that exists.
