For non-coloureds, usually max 4, depending on the complexity (usually one white BG layer, one/two sketch layers (two if theres two characters and their poses intertwine) and one line layer. If colour, phew, who’s to tell. I’ve gone up to 60.

4. what are some of examples of storytelling that inspires you outside of books?

outside of books… probably tv shows? i like paying attention to the way some of them build suspense and keep the audience asking questions, plus i feel like a lot of my dialogue style and action scene writing has largely come from what i’ve seen in live action

oh dear. so, fundamentally i am a lazy person and tend to use other people’s playlists akjshfkhf HOWEVER

this is my writing playlist, which i use the most often (mostly soft alt stuff) and incidentally you can use this to track my musical obsessions over time lmao

this is a still-in-progress playlist i just made for five hargreeves because i am incapable of liking things (and characters) in moderation – disclaimer, several of these songs i picked up from other people that linked them to five, but also this makes a great writing playlist for writing him or other characters that fit his archetype (it fits the main OC of my current project really really well)

okay so ive honestly been thinking about the fantasy au for like ages and i need to keep it all in one place so ur gonna get the entirety of the basics (probs backgrounds?) of the au SO HERE GOES 

wash and carolina are ex-mercenaries (depending on who you ask) who pretty much travel around and just do tasks for small village in exchange for food and board, but honestly even then its usually food since the two like to camp out just outside of town usually. they try the best to keep out of way of big cities, only going in unless its absolutely necessary for them to

theyve known each other for a long while, used to work in the same mercenary group but the group has since broken apart, and honestly the two dont even actually know all that much about each other’s pasts; wash knows that carolina used to be a knight under the banner of some minor lord who she says went died of grief and wash was the middle child of a family who owned a farm and one day he got caught up in some less than honorable activity and ended up in the merc band where they met
