Hey! Just sent in a donation. I'd like a general reading of how next semester is going to go for me.
I got your donation. Thank you so much!
Deck: The Wild Unknown by Kim Krans
1) What to look forward to next semester? Two of Swords
2) What to look out for next semester? Six of Swords
3) Overall, how is next semester going to go? The Hierophant
We start with what you can look forward to in your next semester. I drew the Two of Swords. This card depicts two black swords crossing their blades to form an “X” with a solar eclipse illuminating the background.
Finally, there will be some clarity. Something that you haven’t been able to decide on or make a decision about will finally have a decision made. This could be deciding on a major or minor, or figuring out what you want to do with your degree, or what you want to do after the semester. A roadblock is going to be finally circumvented in some way.
What should you look out for? I drew the Six of Swords. This card depicts six swords piled in the darkness below a rainbow. Above the rainbow is clear, white skies.
You may enter the semester feeling hopeless or without direction, but luckily this will be a temporary problem. Perhaps last semester left you feeling worn down and tired, and you worry that this semester will bring the same. But keep your hope and your convictions, because there is a rainbow at the end of this storm. Probably linked to if and when you figure out how to lift the obstacle mentioned with the Two of Swords.
Overall, how will the semester be? I drew The Hierophant. This card depict a raven (or crow? I can never tell the difference) sitting on top of a black antique key with lightning striking in the distance.
This semester will be a time where you need to rely on your mentors or teachers for help. That’s okay, because that’s what they’re there for! Seek the knowledge you need, and you shall receive it. Ask people with more experience in a certain field the questions you have, and they will answer you. This is a time for learning, especially learning from someone else.
I will remark that you had two Sword cards in this fairly small spread, so I want to point out that this semester will probably be very thought-heavy. You may find yourself stuck inside your own head at times – thinking about theories and the philosophy behind what you are doing. Don’t forget to put things to practical use if applicable, or to find ways to step outside of your own head here and there.
So overall, you may be going into this semester with worry and doubt from how difficult last semester was. But if you keep hope, you will find the answers you need to overcome any difficulties this upcoming semester. You can find clarity to a problem, like finally making a decision to your previous indecision. Make sure you are asking others for help, because they are able and willing to give you the help you need. With all this in mind, I feel like you will have a good semester on your hands.
I hope this makes sense! Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to read for you :D
