I wrote this prayer 7 years ago while I was still a vet tech to recite with all the animals I had to euthanize over the years. But I never thought about it being so much comfort to me. My best friend of 31 years had to put down one of our college dogs today. His name was Anubis and he was the best boy. From a street puppy in Appalachia to a big boy of 14 in Brooklyn, he lived such a good life.
Jason saved his life. After he and his brother started fighting, I was afraid I was gonna have to put one of them down. I called Jason in tears and asked him to take him; he did. This time he had to call me in tears to tell me it was time.
Words will never say how much I appreciate him for everything heâs done over the year. My heart is broken not just for me, but for Jason, his husband, and even his ex who he contacted, too. I know time will help heal, but I also know weâll always all carry that scar forever. And be better for it. Rest well, sweet boy.
Coming full circle, Amun crossed the bridge today. Heâs been my lifeline through thick and thin. Hell, there were days when I only got out of bed because he needed me. Iâve never been really been an adult without him. To the Moon and Back, Fat Boy.
Ok, witchy and Pagan folks who use crystals: if you were gonna make a fact sheet about each of your stones/crystals as part of a grimoire, what all would you include? Place of origin, color, and metaphysical properties all seem obvious, but anything else?

Hello! So, Welsh isnât my strong suit lol, but I found an audio file online that should help! Welsh has kind of a rolled r (I think the term is trilled), but not like Spanish and âwâ makes an âooâ sound. But once you learn the phonetics, itâs a lot like Irish and Spanish in that itâs very regular (unlike English which does whatever tf it wants đ). So I recommend doing some beginner welsh lessons online, preferably with native speaker audio, to help you out more than I can. But Iâm so glad you asked! Iâve been working on my ability to pronounce Welsh lately, too đ

ETA2: I totally spaced on the HoH part! Iâm sorry, I hope I didnât come off as an asshole. đ€ŠđŒââïžđ€ŠđŒââïžđ€ŠđŒââïž I answered this in like 3 separate chunks of time and just forgot. Ok, so, letâs start with the first word: Rhitta. This is the giantessâ name. The ârâ at the beginning is trilled (if Iâm using the right word) so, itâs like a breathy sound followed by the tongue vibrating against the teeth (as opposed to the palette like in Spanish). The vowel there is long, so âeeeeeâ and the rest is pretty close to English.
For âGawr,â this seems to mean giant and itâs a typical G sound, âawwâ for the vowel. The âwâ adds an âooâ sound after the âawwâ sound and then the final r is trilled again.
I hope thatâs a better explanation! And again, so sorry for my space casing on this!

I want to be extremely explicit here- sending anon hate to anyone for any reason is shameful. Yes that includes "defending" another user. That is not how you handle any situation here. If you have a problem with someone else, you either use your fucking name, or you block them and move on. I have been on this god forsaken hellsite since 2012 and have managed to never once send anon hate. Good. These people often knowingly work with Nazis and that makes them as bad as them. If they donât like that, they need to reanalyse their beliefs.
Itâs also yeah ahistorical as fuck to claim trans people were not targeted by the Nazis. They literally burned every bit of progress Germany made with trans people back then, and Iâm 100% certain considered trans people âhomosexualsâ so targeted them under that bracket.

I did not expect my internal rhythms to be so thrown off by it getting dark at 4:30pm. I think it's cause Louisiana is closer to the equator than Maine, the difference between when the sun sets in the winter and summer isn't as pronounced as it is up here. It's messing with me something fierce and I'm not sure if the effect is being felt in my circadian rhythm or in my emotional rhythms, or both
I do feel that! Iâm from a city ~300 miles inside the Central Time Zone, but live about 40 miles inside the Eastern Time Zone from 18-33. Now that Iâm back in my hometown, everything is so off even after a few years cause it stays light so much later when youâre just inside a time zone.
