Party Squig is ready to party! Because my improved hobby space is coming along nicely.

I am still sorting it out, though - like light panels I can adjust in temperature and such.

But still - finally I'm two and a half seconds back into hobbying. Yay!

I am putting away my WiPs and come about two Salamander Terminators I started before my forced break without magnets on their bases. Think to myself "this I can fix even without great light!".

Glue myself to them. GlUe mYSelF tO ThEm.

I had a mission this week. A goal I set myself.

And, I think I got there!

I've been de-cluttering, getting rid of stuff, or putting it in a better location. I wanted my personal space back. And the person I had to fight for it was me.

This week, I wanted to make a hobby space. Just a little table by the window. Nothing ambitious. Parcel from Amazon came today, just a cheap little table, and it's all set up. There was a foldable chair as well, because if it wasn't, it would just get covered in clothes.

It's very stupid, but I'm a little proud of myself. I wanted the space free, and I cleared it!

I want to start painting miniatures again. Not done that for a long time. I want to draw. I want to write in a notebook. And now I can.

I think it's going to be ok!

Sanctifying my new setup by burning incence and building some sisters

Well, I did it. I bought a model kit to help me make model kits. I recently hit my 3rd shoebox for storing paint and other hobby supply crap (this does not include shoe boxes for finished models) and despite being a filthy goblin whomst lives in his own filth I decided I needed an organizational system. Appart from the slavjank engrish the instruction manual was printed in, this laser cut wood paint organizer I got off Amazon is very nice

There we go - I rearranged stuff slightly so I could fit a third monitor in. So now I can still see reference pics or videos or make sure my camera’s in focus if I ever do painting videos or whatever while I’m painting! XD And when I’m not using the monitor I can just slide it away and still easily open those drawers.

and ofc I had to stick with the TSons theme for the wallpaper. ¬_¬

Ahh dad and I finally finished building my new desks (the white topped ones) today, and I just finished cleaning and re-organising everything! I now have like 270 degrees of working space that I can roll around in, whee! XD Also finally have enough room for the third part of my paint rack - I’ve only been using the middle and one of the sides since I got them cos I just didn’t have room anywhere for the third side until now. 

I also got some monitor stands for my monitors/computer so now I have a bit more space there too - the power boards fit nicely under the stands while keeping all the cords and shit out of the way. It took a lot less time than I was expecting to get used to my monitors being higher, too!

So now that it’s all done, I’m gonna take a couple of days to just enjoy everything being Neat and Tidy, then on New Year’s I’ll finally get back to doing some hobby!

Got myself a camera arm for my webcam! This’ll make recording videos and maybe even doing livestreams much easier! :D

Next step, figuring out what to get to make myself an LED halo... I feel like my current paper-towel-over-a-desk-lamp system is probably not a good long-term lighting solution. XD
