Got these sweet pastries from the Smile Garden Hodogaya event in Hodogaya Ward office - well, once in a while I need to go there and get some documents that take some time... having some treats to fill the stomach while waiting sounds great!

Minatoan: Hodogaya ward office has a hidden great restaurant to make the whole bureaucratic work around more enjoyable and less tiring.

Today's suggested menu was soba noodles with iwashi (Japanese sardine) tempura. The noodles portion was quite generous and the fish was so fresh and crispy. Really tasty lunch set - also, very cheap (400 yen = less than 5 USD)!
