                     hoffersonisms

     One final overlook of their equipment before they hit      the road he decided. A harsh road--this kind of suggested      activity he hasn't done in years. He had no inkling to how      hectic or crazy it could get in the wilderness. It could be      considered 'good practice' if he was to be separated from      his dragon companion and out on his own. Even with defensive      knowledge of a shield and sword--bow and arrow was a      little more focus driven. Keen senses were needed, listening,      waiting--watching. How he ended up being talked into this was      beyond him. Maybe his adventurous side wanting to see if he      could do it while the other nitpicking his ridiculous tendencies. 

                      Since when did I listen again? 

     A short shake of the head before eyes peered up curiously.

                “Everything is accounted for and the supplies                  should last a couple of days until we get back.                 If...everything goes as planned. Which, you know--                 isn't always. You sure you wanna go                        through with this, Astrid?"
