Day 2: Dai Hai to Erenhot

Woke up to a blue sky for the first time and left the hotel at 9:33. There is a beautiful lake by the hotel. Passed some magnificent scenery but the Bentley's brakes were not good which was a problem going through a city called Hohot (which is much bigger than Durban). 

Then there were wind farms and we passed what we thought was a huge lake but was actually a solar panel power station. Near to Erenhot is a dinosaur arch which we drove through. There is a whole collection of life size dinosaur statues seemingly arbitrarily placed next to the road. 

Will post pics when we can. Into Mongolia tomorrow, hope we don't have issues at the border.
