"I'd have hit anyone else who did that, Far away."
"Oh- Sorr--"
"I thought you'd like to know."
"Why?"
"I didn't hit you."
This one is for Cirquesque's players.
Running this is a blast, guys, and I always appreciate the amount of thought you put into the characters, so have a little something I think you'll like.
See ya in a week or two!
This Christmas ornament is part of Cokes Trim-A-Tree Series from 1991. The ornament is in very good condition as shown without box. Its time to get it now before the holiday is here. The price is right.
Whoop whoop, we went to Bali, Lombok and Gilis and this is what we did:
Our first stop was Ubud in Bali. Since Bali is known for its superb spas a full body massage was the very first thing we did on our very first day to shake off the last bit of work-related tension and to get us into proper holiday mood. It was nothing less than amazing! I felt so relaxed and renewed and we even got sweet tea with ginger afterwards.
Energized and refreshed we made our way to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. And they don’t lie about the monkeys; they are everywhere and there are so many. Incredible! If you feel like having a monkey climb all over you you can buy bananas and feed them or alternatively leave some food in your pockets. But they’re not shy anyway and investigate you as soon as you give them attention. One of our taxi drivers told us that the monkeys stay in their forest because they have their temple there …. ‘and lots of food from the tourists’ he added after we raised an eyebrow or two :) Quite frankly, I think they don’t give a shit about the temple but everything is holy in Bali!
… and the forest is very pretty to look at with and without monkeys but it’s definitely more fun with them around!
After playing around with the monkeys we went to Ubud village to check out the local market. It’s quite big considering that Ubud is tiny. We found lots of stalls selling the exact same stuff. I always find that the funniest thing. Like always, I wasn’t tempted to buy anything, although they had some interesting merchandise … must be something very spiritual again!

so i want to travel. i want to take a year out of uni and travel. i did want to go to thailand and teach buddhist monks english, or go to india and do charity work with unicef. but those are very expensive options. although, isn't everything these days? so i want to travel. either on my own or with good friends and strangers. if that makes sense. there's something wonderfully familiar about close friends. and something oddly familiar about strangers. i want to set off with a backpack and money and see where i end up. trains and hitching rides and walking and hiking and taxis and illegal means, no doubt, and flights. i want to end up in another country. i don't care where. i want photos and wine and camp fires and nights spent being so cold that sleep is impossible and beaches and singing and dancing and sunburnt noses and meeting new people and learning new languages but only being taught the rude words and shady trees and being rained on whilst trying to pitch tents and sleeping in burnt-out caravans in the middle of nowhere and climbing trees and mosquito bites and wading through rivers and midnight skinny dipping because who gives a fuck and writing everything down in an ink/wine-stained brown leather journal and stories and crying and laughing until i cry and discovering new things and discovering new people and discovering myself.
