We were just two good, comfortable, old friends enjoying a weekend of music and fun together. And I miss our friendship so badly I can feel it in my bones. My body aches with the longing for my friend. Because as much as I miss J as my boyfriend, I miss him as my friend. I miss him as the guy who was always there, even when he wasn't. The guy who was always lingering in the recesses of my mind. 

And I tried to push it away yesterday and today. I tried to ignore it. I tried to drink and smoke it away. I tried to let the music carry it away. But nothing worked.
