Ive brought Andy away for his birthday to this ww2 converted RAF base water tower. It’s quirky. It’s cold, with no hot water, as the boiler packed up just before we arrived 2 days ago. They have done their absolute best to get this sorted. It’s Monday morning and a new boiler should be here today. Yesterday I got locked in the loo as the lock is broken , Andy had a couple of repairs to do - the bed was falling apart and the water wasn’t going from the en-suite sink. A ton of hair later …. It now works fine. He was thinking about going back to work soon so maybe we’ll invoice them 🤣🤣 Holiday from hell? Not at all. It’s all part of the fun. Me getting stressed about it all would be what would ruin it. It is what it is. Everyone is doing their best.
