I really love how you pointed out the men's problems! Even though women have a lot of problems, men have serious ones as well. On the other hand, do you really think "feminists" did all the stuff? Because just because they call themselves one (1/2)
(2/2) does not mean they actually are one. Feminism means wanting equality for both sexes, not just for one (in this case females). I really like your post tho! :)
I’m of the persuasion that anyone who calls themselves a feminist is one, because the definition of feminism is “the advocacy of women’s rights on the social, economic, and political equality to men” so feminism is the advocacy of women’s rights, just like the MRA is the advocacy of men’s rights. Nowhere in the definition does it exclude misandrists. I personally don’t identify as a feminist or an MRA because I don’t believe equality should be gendered. I have no problem with either movement, and my ideals / philosophies actually overlap with most issues both movements fight for / against. I did write “some feminists” on the post because I know not all feminists are like that, in the sense that they’ll actively try to hurt men. I don’t group feminists together as one big lump, instead I try to go case by case. Most feminists are good, some feminists are bad. Just because there’s a few bad apples in the barrel doesn’t make the barrel bad.
EDIT: I worded this poorly, I have some issues with that. I don’t see feminists as wholly bad, but some people who use the label feminist actually do bad things. I personally have never seen a misandrist who doesn’t also label themselves as a feminist, but that does not mean all feminists are misandrists. I don’t want to put the idea that I think that out there. Most feminists don’t ignore male problems, some of them don’t even realize there are problems men face. A few feminists are bad and purposely ignore male problems, but they are not the majority, in my experience.
