Officially we have swung into back to school and weather we are kids or parents or neither everyone is affected. Family’s become more locked into schedules; individuals affected by changes in traffic and commute times, peak gym hours or longer grocery lines a new times. So basically we are all adjusting as have returned to school and are on the brink of the Autumnal Equinox changing our season. It may feel overwhelming, you may feel like there simply aren’t enough hours in a day or pieces of you to go around. I say take a pause. PLAN IT! That’s right take a few minutes and schedule it in your iphone or calendar planner. If everything else in your calendar has alarms and reminders to force you to go do the things you have to do, then why wouldn’t you with the same logic schedule some “self-care” or “me time”? You certainly do matter just as much as everything else in your schedule. Stop bending over backwards for everyone else. Take a few moments at the park, in your living room, in the bathroom at work or wherever you are and take a few moments to explore a backbend pose! Backbends are the only poses that move energy through all of our Chakras!
