IN-DEPTH QUESTIONS ABOUT THE TRASH LORD
6. What were they like at school? Did they enjoy it? Did they finish? What level of higher education did they reach? What subjects did they enjoy? Which did they hate?
Hayden was a total outsider at school. Since he came from a small town, people knew of his circumstances and his peers bullied and alienated him because of the way their parents saw him: a TRASH just like his father. This made school hell for him, and, he got into a lot of fights with his peers whenever he would get pushed too far. This made the faculty of the school see him as a “problem” because of his fiery temper and violent nature. So, you could say Hayden HATED school. He didn’t try at any of his classes and would sometimes skip classes to go behind the gym to smoke weed with his “friends”. He finished just BARELY and didn’t even go to graduation: he had his diploma mailed to him. He didn’t go to college because he felt that he COULDN’T go: he had no money, he didn’t have the grades, and he didn’t have the support to get him through all four years. Although Hayden didn’t really TRY in any of his subjects, he always excelled in wood working class since he REALLY enjoys working with his hands and it’s something he still practices even now. So, in short, Hayden had a terrible school experience and looks back at it with bitterness.
35. What’s their guilty pleasure? What is their totally unguilty pleasure?
Honestly, Hayden is pretty open about the things he enjoys. He doesn’t care if someone gives him shit about it because he’ll just beat the shit out of you. But, I guess you can say that older music is a sort of guilty pleasure of his? like, he likes music of the 70′s and 80′s but he really enjoys the classics of the 40′s and 50′s since it was apparently his mother’s favorite type of music. He has a little battery operated record player that he just plays her records on and he just feels as if she’s there with him, in some warm room far from his own desolate lodgings
